Help is a Call or Chat Away

Times of crisis, particularly when people are in close quarters, can lead to an increase in domestic abuse. Resources are available 24/7, and domestic violence programs across our state are working tirelessly to help people plan for their safety. If you need help with issues stemming from domestic abuse, you can connect via phone, web chat or Facetime. You are not alone.

Here are local and national resources:

  • The local Domestic Abuse Women's Network (DAWN) is still fully serving the community during the coronavirus closures. DAWN provides legal, family, mental health, emergency shelter and community advocacy services. You can call their support line for more information or access resources: (425) 565-7867

  • The National Domestic Violence Hotline operates 24 hours every day, (800) 799-7233 or (800) 787-3224 (TTY). If you are unable to speak safely, you can log on to thehotline.org or text LOVEIS to 22522.

  • If you are in an emergency situation, please call 911.
