We want to hear and learn from students. Does your student have something to share about their experience as a student in Highline? We are seeking students to share their experiences at the 2021 Highline Equity Symposium on Tuesday, August 24.
The Equity Symposium is an annual event where all Highline staff come together to engage in dialogue and learning of racial equity. The theme for this year’s event is Every Student at the Center. Everything staff learns at this event will help them meet our Highline Promise to know every student by name, strength, and need, and graduate prepared for the future they choose.
This opportunity is open to all Highline students, in all grades. Students can present by themself or as part of a group. Presentations can include music, art, film, movement and/or informative/motivational speech. This year’s event will be held virtually. We are seeking both live and pre-recorded presentations.
Submit a proposal by using our online form.
The deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, May 28. Accepted proposals will be announced by June 7.
